I can’t afford a lawyer. Why should I call a lawyer?

06.09.08 | Comment?

Is it just going to cost me money that the insurance company is going to pay me anyway?

You don’t always need a lawyer but if you have an insurance claim or have been injured you can’t afford not to talk to one.

At Rhona L. Waxman Law Office’s there is no charge for the first meeting; I’ll get the details of your case, tell you what your rights are, what you are entitled to and if I think having a lawyer is in your best interests.

If you don’t need a lawyer you will still leave the meeting with an arsenal of knowledge about your rights and a better understanding of what your insurance company should be paying to you. If you decide I should represent you in your claim you can hire me on a contingency fee basis. This means that you pay me a percentage of the money you get in your case and that you only pay if we win.

Insurance companies are businesses; they make money by taking your premiums and paying out as little as they legally can. Don’t rely on them to tell you what is fair, what your rights are and what you are entitled to.
